    • Bemis introduces use of recycled / reprocessed materials for use in plastic seats.

    • Bemis installs energy monitoring software
  • 2007:

    • Bemis introduces
      EF alternative to polyester seats

    • Molded wood seats awarded Eco-Options certification
      by The Home Depot
  • 2005:

    • Bemis purchases neighboring manufacturing site, completes brown field clean up

    • Bemis receives Smartwood Rediscovered Wood Certification
      for molded wood seats
  • 2004:

    • Conversion to trivalent chrome for parts

    • Bemis Health Care introduces
      the Quick-Drain™ System for
      safer disposal
  • 2000:

    • Bemis razes obsolete building, donates land for community park

    • Bemis begins using internal nitrogen gas assist in molding
  • 1996:

    • Bemis installs grinder recycling molded wood cores into process
  • 1994:

    • Bemis renovates downtown building into Bemis Home & Garden store

    • Bemis agrees to participate in interruptible power program
  • 1993:

    • Bemis purchases first
      co-injection press
  • 1992:

    • Bemis relocates flourmill to abandoned incinerator site
  • 1988:

    • Bemis begins transition to water base paints
  • 1986:

    • Bemis begins transition to liquid colorants

    • Injection molding scrap is reclaimed back into product

    • Flo-coat paint lines result in 98% transfer efficiency v. old spray line with transfer efficiency of ≤ 60%

    • Bemis begins using wood waste to create molded wood toilet seats
