Storm water runoff from industrial sites can carry soil and debris into adjacent waterways. Bemis worked with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to develop a storm water retention demonstration site as a model for other commercial and industrial development. The Bemis retention ponds capture storm water runoff and allow sediment and debris to settle in the ponds and not in the Sheboygan River.
