After purchasing a neighborhood manufacturing site, Bemis undertook the massive job of brownfield clean up. More than 995 tons of contaminated concrete and 3,481 tons of contaminated soil were removed. Today, the land has been turned back to nature. It's an attractive green field dotted with pine and spruce trees, native grasses and prairie wildflowers.
