Bemis Manufacturing Co. has provided leadership and commitment to the local community from the beginning. Throughout the past three decades, Bemis has had a phenomenal impact on the revitalization of the failing Sheboygan Falls downtown. Together with Richardson Brothers Company and local historic preservation groups, Bemis was a supporter of one of Wisconsin’s first Main Street Programs. This effort restored historic storefronts and transformed the downtown into a destination for visitors to the area.

The most recent project is the Bemis Bath Shoppe on Broadway, which transformed one of the most neglected downtown properties into an award winning bath design store. The Wisconsin Main Street Program has recognized it as the Best Downtown Façade Rehabilitation in the past 20 years.
