Buyer - Material Management - Proprietary Group
General Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include managing uninterrupted supply of Production materials in support of the Proprietary operation and MRO materials in support of Corporate Operations; managing the relationships of preferred suppliers to support all Bemis Manufacturing facilities and managing cost saving initiatives. Responsible for providing data to assist in determining commodity and material trends, including pricing and availability, that may influence quality and delivery performance.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Establish, monitor, and manage relationships with key suppliers and internal functions.
- Negotiate contracts for parts, services and equipment as needed.
- Locate and qualify suppliers to support new product development and/or changes to existing products/markets.
- Analyze current market trends, immediate and long term that will contribute to accurate pricing and provide cost justification within assigned material categories.
- Anticipate and communicate demand schedule to suppliers.
- Create supplier specific strategies and improvement initiatives in concert with the appropriate commodity team and corporate function.
- Ensure suppliers have programs in place to respond to unanticipated demand spikes.
- Create and manage lead-time reduction programs with key suppliers.
- Develop strategically linked and functionally integrated sourcing strategies for the corporation.
- Analyze quotations for total acquisition cost and value analyses to select, or develop the optimized supplier portfolio.
- Check/approve purchase requisitions and/or payment invoices; direct preparation of and follow-up on orders to expedite delivery/shipment as required.
- Develop and maintain necessary records of purchase, price, stock and consumption, supplier specifications and catalog files.
- Ensure adherence to Purchasing and Corporate policies and procedures.
- Lead total cost savings initiatives to meet yearly department savings goals
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to negotiate successful agreement with suppliers.
- Understanding of strategic sourcing and supply strategies.
- Understanding of materials requirements planning and other replenishment planning techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and to build and manage business relationships.
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in an MRP/ERP environment.
- Excellent computer skills in utilizing Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Accreditation with APICS and/or ISM required within 18 months of hire.

Production Schedule
General Responsibilities:
Plan and establish production schedules for plant manufacturing processes. Coordinate with purchasing, operations, engineering and sales to support the schedule as required. Establish and maintain capacity plans for manufacturing work centers. Work with operations to support the execution of the schedule.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Determine scheduling parameters and create footprints consistent with company policy.
- Prepare production schedules for assigned production areas and contribute
- to the weekly sample meeting to establish sample schedule.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the capacity plans.
- Assist in tracking of efficiencies and utilization of resources.
- Participate in meetings with customers as needed.
- Support and develop continuous improvement activity in manufacturing and systems.
- Expedite late or rush production orders.
Skills and Qualifications:
The candidate for this position will need a four year degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management as well as . APICS or ISM certification required within 2 years. Solid communication skills both written and verbal, solid computer skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, strong problem solving skills and the ability to make sound business decisions are needed. The candidate must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines with the ability to work in a team environment.

Manage the Bath Product and Home Improvements Sales Department. Generate the volume necessary to secure the divisional sales plan; accomplishment to be through direct and personal involvement with the Consumer/Retail distribution trade channel, Field Sales Manager, and Manufacturers Representatives.
Specific Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for assisting the HR Leadership Team in creating, organizing and implementing staffing strategies and supporting initiatives and internal development that will improve the overall talent level and bench strength of the company.
This individual will partner with the HR Leadership Team in implementing and applying enhanced recruiting and selection processes and tools that will attract, select and retain best-in-class level of talent in regards to factory, skilled trades, technical, office hourly, professional and executive positions for the company. The candidate will also be expected to partner with hiring managers to proactively look at their staffing needs and access what recruitment will be needed. The candidate will be expected to assist in the process from position requisition to the offer. This will include assisting the hiring manager to complete the requisition, posting of the position internally and advertising externally through job sites and newspaper ads, searching resume banks and possibly contacting and working with external recruiters, reviewing incoming resumes and making the decision along with the HR Managers as to which resumes are sent to the hiring managers for their review.
Phone screening will be done by the recruiting assistant and the hiring manager. Working with the hiring manager this position will be responsible for choosing an interview team, building the questions and with assistance from the HR Administrative Assistant, setting up interviews. Testing, reference-checking and the decision making process round out the responsibilities.
Campus visits and job fair attendance will also be required.
A degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience, ability to maintain strict confidentiality, strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the company, strong computer skills with AS/400 familiarity and at least a mid- level working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook is needed.

Incumbent will be responsible for providing support and coordination activities relating to Marketing and Sales efforts under the direction of Market and Business Development Management and Sales Management. Reports directly to Director, Market and Business Development, Wholesale Plumbing NA.
Typical Duties of the Job:
- Product and Account Planning – Support and assist in product and account proformas, key account POS analysis, product and program implementation, key account sales presentations and plan-o-gram layout under the guidance of Market and Business Development and Sales Management.
- SKU Management – Maintain up-to-date status and coordinate marketing responsibilities related to Automated Model Requests (AMR’s), attend AMR meetings on an as needed basis and report regularly to Market and Business Development Management regarding status of AMR.
- Communication – Assist Market and Business Development and Sales Management in the development and execution of support materials including product launches, product literature, advertising, public relations, promotions, training tools, new product/product bulletins, packaging, tradeshows and price schedules.
- Project Management – Under the guidance of Market and Business Development and Sales Management, provides project management support and coordination for retail and wholesale projects, product launches, rep mailings, price sheet updates, national and regional trade shows.
- Purchasing – Generate purchase orders for Sales and Marketing on an as needed basis using the AS400 system.
