United Kingdom
In 1987, we purchased and consolidated manufacturing and distribution facilities in Burnley, England. This was the start of our international operations and formed the foundation for our growth in global markets. Today, this facility produces injection molded toilet seats that are distributed throughout Europe, the Middle East & Africa under the Bemis name and many private labels.
Italy
In 1999, we acquired two Italian manufacturing companies and consolidated them into the Carrara & Matta facility outside Torino, Italy. Carrara & Matta brought Bemis new technology and product lines, including bathroom accessories, for new markets worldwide.
